Project #2 Finished

Churchmouse Yarns came out with a surprise today. They have a new adaptation to their Easy Fold Poncho.

Our Easy Folded Poncho transcends the trends. It's easy to knitjust one long stockinette rectangleeasy to finish, and easy to throw on. Our classic poncho is shown bottom row, center on Kate without the original cowl neck. You can make the poncho with the original cowl neck with just one additional skein of Felted Tweed.

We created our “v.2” version here by using two additional skeins of Felted Tweed to add an open collar in a pressed broad rib to give the original poncho a whole new look.

The Poncho is knit with Rowan Felted Tweed. There is a colour for everyone!
The original poncho calls for 5 balls and you need 2 more balls if you want to add this collar.

Our favorite poncho transcends the trends. It’s easy to knit (just one long stockinette rectangle), easy to finish, and easy to throw on. Knit with a cowl or without, you’ll see why this is a Churchmouse favorite!

We’ve knit our Easy Folded Poncho in Rowan Felted Tweed—one of our favorite yarns of all time. This fiber is on the finer side of DK-weight and blends merino wool with alpaca and viscose. As a result, it has softness and spring, drape and luster—and so many beautiful color options!

This pattern has been very popular. It is easy to knit and easy to wear. There are over 4,000 projects on Ravelry. You can easily triple or more the number of ponchos that have been knit. Not everyone puts their finished projects on Ravelry.

Olympic project #2 is finished.
This is a Nightshift that I started a while ago using 3 colours of Noro Ito. I stopped before using all the yarn. I have about 1/2 a ball of each colour left.

My mannequin is upstairs and I didn’t want to go up and take pictures and then come down to write. I’ll get better pictures tomorrow.

Now it’s bedtime. I was up early to watch the Olympics.
