Happy Camp Sweater
Deidre stopped in yesterday afternoon with our Happy Camp Sweater. It is incredible.
You can purchase the pattern on Ravelry. It was late in the day and starting to rain. I took a quick photo and will get better photos the next time Lynn is in the store. I was so excited about the sweater that I had to share now. This has me motivated to sew the ends in on my first Happy Camp and get back to knitting the second one.
The fifth colour is almost finished.

Happy Canada Day
Pressed Flowers
Ballet Slipper
Pillow Fort
Once I get into the next colour I will get much better pictures. Now it’s bed time - tomorrow is going to be busy. I have lots of orders to pack (thank you everyone who placed an order today) and then I need to work on the website. I won’t be putting yarn away in the fingering weight room. That room isn’t air conditioned and it was hot yesterday so I can only imagine how hot it will be tomorrow.

La Storia
Here is Isabell Kraemer’s latest sweater.
La Storia is a beautifully textured t-shirt, worked seamlessly from the top down.
The first part of the yoke is worked back and forth in rows.
Once the V-neck shaping is complete, the yoke is worked in rounds with raglan increases to the final yoke depth, where sleeve stitches are put on hold.
From this point the body is worked in rounds down to the ribbing. Then sleeve stitches are picked up again to work the sleeves in rounds top down to the cuffs.
V-neck finishing is worked last.
You can purchase the pattern for La Storia on Ravelry.
The sweater is knit with fingering weight yarn - you have many yarn options.
The first two pattern repeats of Grevillia are finished. I was hoping to make it to the colours tonight but I had a busy day. Laundry, washing floors and grocery shopping ate into my knitting time. It was also a busy sports day so I was continually changing channels. What a great soccer game!!!!

Coming Soon
Grevillia is growing. I just finished the first repeat of the chart. Two more times through and then I start the colours.
Hedgehog sent an email today that our yarn might be ready to ship at the end of the week. I can’t wear for the new colours.
These two colours are going to be used in some sort of fade.
I think it could be Ambah O’Brien’s Bambara Wrap (pattern purchased on Ravelry).

New Project
Gorgeous Grevilleas, a flower native to Australia, come in a wide array of colours. When I was choosing a colour palette for this design, I found myself drawn to light to dark pinky-reds. The airy lace pattern and range of colours remind me of the spiky, loopy flowers of these beautiful bush flowers. Alternately this will knit up beautifully in a single colour: solid, speckle or gradient. An airy, asymmetrical triangle, this shawl will be fun to knit and lovely to wear all year round.
The pattern includes both written and charted instructions to choose between.
I spent this morning at home - the sprinkler company came to work on the front lawn.
They only made it until 11:30 when the rain started. They’ll be back tomorrow.

Crazy Beautiful Colour
Mr. UPS delivered a big box from Emma’s this morning. There are a lot of new colours - these are all on the website.
Caramel-y golden drizzle over the ittiest bittiest colorful specks makes November 2023 gorgeous for fall, festive & fun, and stunning on everyone!
