Here is another pattern for Lore from The Fibre Co. If you purchase the yarn for the sweater we will email you a copy of the pattern.

Crummock is a classic V-neck pullover with plush cables on the left of the body and sleeve. Designed by Neringa Ruke for Lore, it uses a clever centre-front seam to join the panels of stocking and reverse stocking stitch.

Processed in a mill in England’s historical textile region of West Yorkshire, Lore is made of 100% lambswool from the Romney sheep breed also referred to locally as Kent lamb. It is an honest woolen spun DK weight yarn that blooms into a beautiful knitted fabric after washing. Garments made from Lore will wear well and are perfect for everyday and special adventures alike. Everyone loves a free pattern. The Royal Oak Cowl is knit in Woolstok. You will need 3 skeins of Woolstok (the pattern is calling for a large skein which we don’t carry)

The Royal Oak Cowl is cozy and cabled, made with one 150 gram hank of Woolstok and will keep you warm on the coldest night.

I need to start a new project. Addi sent me a surprise today - advanced sets of the Rocket Interchangeable Needle Sets. Sets will be available in the store later this summer.

Why a new project? The Square needles could result in a different tension than regular Addis. You might not see it but ...

This short sleeve summer top features in the Summerlite DK collection by Martin Storey. The design features a scoop neck with button detailing and lace panels making it suitable for the knitter with some experience.

Last Day

Frabjous Fibers has introduced So Fond of Rainbows. This is a pack of 20 mini skeins. The cardigan is knit with the fingering weight set. The pattern is called Rainbows in the Gorge and you can purchase it on Ravelry.

The rainbow baby blanket hanging on the wall is knit with the worsted weight version of a So Fond of Rainbows kit. It is called the Colorburst Blanket.

I forgot that I took a picture of the baby blanket on it’s own.

This shawl is called Which Way (purchased on Ravelry). It is knit with a Mad Hatter Combo kit - sport weight yarn.

The yarn from Frabjous is in my car and we will have in the store tomorrow. You can see all the yarns from Frabjous Fibers that we carry.

There were lots of pretty colours in the madelinetosh booth. An order should be coming in July with merino light.

We love Rowan Felted Tweed. There will be new colours coming for fall.

We went to Nationals Park to see the Washington Nationals play the Chicago Cubs last night.

Our seats were great!

It was so hot out. Beth and the beer man became close friends.

Free Patterns from Rowan

I need a really fast project. This is the Kari Cowl knit with one skein of Freia Super Bulky on 10mm needles. I should get this finished while watching Survivor tonight.

A simple slouch hat with applied embroidery after completion, knit in the round with yarns held together.

The fireplace was going when we ate at Cracker Barrel. There is nothing nicer than a real fire. And it was so warm.

Lucy loves to be brushed. She sits like an angel until she's tired and then she falls over.

I texted this picture to Beth. Her reply was

I'm early tonight because I will be in bed early. I didn't get home until 2:30 this morning. Thank goodness I had a snow brush and boots in my car. I had a bit of snow to clear. I was able to start my car when I got out of customs from the app on my phone. At least some of the ice and snow was melted by the time I got to the car.
