Joji has a new pattern coming out April 12.
5 colours
Fingering weight
400 yards per skein
There isn't a lot of information available yet but this is what I've found on Ravelry.
The pattern is similar in construction to Starting Point. There is no Twisted Rib!!! Yay!!!
Of course I had to start putting colours together.
They are being added to the website.
I could keep going (and probably will tomorrow) but it's time to head home. It's pretty obvious that I have a problem with purple.
The second square for the Gradient Lapghan KAL came out today.
If you missed the first square, it looks like this.
Sign up on Cascade's website... You will receive an email when the newest square is available with the coupon code so you can download the pattern for free on Ravelry. I suggest doing this even if you don't plan on starting right away. Then you will have the pattern when you are ready.
Dad, Beth and Lucy are heading to Myrtle Beach in the morning. Sunday morning dad is flying to Puerto Rico for 5 days to do some work there. Beth is staying in Myrtle Beach to Lucy sit. And golf. I will be in and out of the store looking after Roko. I live fairly close and can be in the store in 15 minutes if I'm needed.
Now it's bed time. Beth is getting up at 3am and dad will be here at 4 to pick her up. I'll wake up to send them off and then get a few hours of sleep before work.

Gradient Lapghan
Thanks to everyone who is bringing cans of food into the store for the Food Drive. Please keep them coming.
200m on a 100gram ball
Join me for the fun. Making a square every three weeks doesn't seem like a lot. They're little and easy to carry around with you. What a great way to learn some new techniques.
Here is a link to the KAL that is just finishing. The squares look great. And they have some big time designers. You still have time to download the squares. If you hurry. They are only good until February 15th. Sign up on Cascades website for the download codes.
Cascade had so much fun with last year’s 30th Anniversary Afghan that they have created an all-new design for 2018. The folks at Cascade know that if anything motivates a knitter more than a knit-along, it’s a mystery knit-along! This Mystery Knit-Along is sure to be as exciting as it was last year. Knitters all over were sitting at their computers, eagerly waiting for the next pattern to land in their inbox. Once the pattern arrived the knitting frenzy began as inquisitive knitters couldn’t wait to see how the block would knit up.
The Knitterati Knit-Along starts in March, 2018 and a new pattern will be released every three weeks for a year. There will be sixteen squares in all, created by sixteen top designers.
The Knitterati Knit-Along follows a gradient theme to correspond with a special gradient section that Vogue is featuring this Spring. There are sixteen colours of 220 Superwash Merino in this afghan — four graduating shades of four different colours. There are two magnificent colour choices using the new shades available in 220 Superwash Merino for the Knitterai Knit-Along, and kits will be available in the store very soon.
Should you be thinking of subtle shades for your afghan, let us suggest the original colour option. Soft lilac that flows through tranquil grays and blues and in to warm shades of green. Perfection!
Looking for something a little more bold? Why not try out the alternate colour option? Rich aubergine that coordinates exquisitely with shades of gold, blue and green.
Please note that in order for you to participate in the Knitterati Knit-Along and to receive pattern releases for each square, you must sign up at http://www.cascadeyarn.com.Cascade 220 Superwash Merino will be arriving later this month. Our first order will include all the colours shown for the Lapghan (both colour options) as well as cream, white, three greys and black. We will continue to add colours.
220 Superwash Merino is similar in gauge and yardage to our classic 220 Superwash but with the softness of merino. Use this total easy care yarn for adult and child garments and accessories that need that extra touch of softness.100% Superwash Merino
