Finished Projects

Doreen has a new cardigan and it is stunning!!!
Just finished my Mattie Cardigan. Love it! I used Biches & Bûches Le Petit Lambswool in Dark Violet Blue and the Flowers in Candy. When I was in I was asking you about adding the mohair to the flowers.  Love the way it turned out. This was a very easy pattern to follow.  I find Kristen Drysdale writes a great pattern. Great fit! Thanks for helping choose the colours!
The pattern can be purchased on Ravelry.

Adrienne has a new cardigan too. It looks amazing!!!
I wanted to share these pics of how my Spark cardigan turned out. I adore it! It’s unbelievably warm, which has been wonderful in the deep freeze we have been having. My first steeking experience was a success, but definitely nerve wracking to make the first cut.

Thank you for encouraging me to move away from neutral colours - this is Harrisville Designs Highland in Loden for the main colour and the colourwork is Spincycle Dreamstate in Wololo. The colours came together even better than I had hoped for. I added some length because I am much longer in the torso than Andrea Mowry.

Thanks again for helping me out with this - I hope you’re close to finishing yours too!
My Spark/Spice cardigan is very close to being finished. I have about 20 stitches to cast off and then I can cut. It is going to be my Sunday project.

We received three boxes today.
-Lantern Moon interchangeable needles are back in stock
-Addi needles including interchangeable knits and a few sizes of FlexiFlips
-Knitting Barber Cords

Dr. Beth and Dr. Henk (my dad) had to do some work on Lucy’s leg this morning. Last night (late) dad took her for a walk and she laid down in the snow. The bandage was wet so dad tried to redo it. It didn’t work out well. When I called this morning he said they had a bad night. After Beth dropped me at the store she went to the vets to get more bandages. Lucy’s all good now.

It’s going to be early to bed tonight. We have Olympic events early in the morning. I’m almost finished another shawl. I have 10 rows and then the cast off.
