Always There

Joji Locatelli has a new cardigan pattern that you can purchase on her website.

Being a cardigan is no small task. Most people will rely on you to comfort them, to warm them, to make them feel better… even to look better!
No question, a cardigan can be a very, very good friend.
Being a good friend is no small task either. This pattern is inspired by my very good friend who is always, always there.

This is a simple pattern with a boxy fit and dropped shoulders.
It is worked seamlessly from the top down. You work the upper back first, then the fronts, and finally you join the body at the underarm
The sleeves are picked up and worked in the round.
It features a series of bands alternating between stockinette and textured stitches.

The Always There Cardigan is knit with DK weight yarn. You have many options.

One option for the cardigan is Hedgehog Tweedy. In case you haven’t read your email newsletters.

Tweedy is on sale until the end of the week - Friday February 18th.

-purchase 5 or more skeins and receive 15% off (the reduced price is $36.13 a skein)

-the discount is automatic when you check out

-this is a preorder - the yarn won’t be here until the beginning of March

-all items ordered with Tweedy will be shipped together

-your payment will be processed when you order

The composition is:
50% Falkland Merino Wool / 37.5% Recycled wool / 12.5% our Thread waste

230m (250 yards) on a 100gram skein

Hedgehog Fibres is calling this a double knitting weight yarn.

Mr. UPS delivered 12 boxes today. One had lots of pretty yarn from Spincycle.
The other 11 boxes were from Rowan. We have the spring yarns and books and will be launching them on March 1.
Tomorrow morning the packing table goes away and we get the cash area straightened.

Lynn and I spent the day putting up samples and moving yarn around.
