I Love Cables

Annie Lupton (Boho Chic Fiber Co) has a new pattern.

The Bookish Cardi is a statement layering sweater. It features some of my favorite stitches and techniques: twisted stitches, crochet bobbles, and buttonholes which makes for an addictive knit that you won’t be able to put down! The cropped length, front button closure, and easy drop shoulder style make this the ultimate layering piece to mix and match with your wardrobe.

You can purchase the pattern on Ravelry.

I love cables and this cardigan will look amazing in Arranmore Light from The Fibre Co.

Deidre is going to make us a store sample with Arranmore Light in the colour Liadan.
Beige and grey with a tint of denim. It’s the perfect colour for the cardigan.

If you are going to knit the cardigan, please look at the finished length. It is cropped and you might want to add length. We are adding 2” to our store sample.
Lynn’s Inclinations Cowl is growing. She was complaining that the rows are getting longer and it doesn’t knit as fast. Soon she will be on decrease rows and then she will be happy again. Every so often I find her staring at the wall of Zauberball Crazy - she’s trying to decide colours for another cowl.

This is Absolute Zero and Pick Your Poison. My plane knitting.

Now I need to start thinking about the clothes I’m taking. The weather in Vancouver is not going to be nearly as nice as the weather in Ancaster.
