I’m Really Cute

This is Stephen West’s Botanic Shawl that hangs in the store. We used Le Petit Lambswool and Zauberball Crazy.

This triangular shawl is knit sideways starting with a tiny corner increasing to the border. Stripes and slipped stitches decorate the linear lines of the fabric. One solid yarn combined with one self-striping yarn produce an exciting project that’s easy to knit and fascinating to watch the colors unfold. This pattern is a great beginner shawl project with simple stitches. You can stop early for a smaller shawl or knit more repeats for a larger shawl.

You can purchase the pattern on Stephen’s website.

I put a few combinations together yesterday. I was up early this morning watching golf and put the combinations online.

I spent a bit of time today putting together some colour combinations for Andrea Mowry’s Douglas Cardi in Deluxe Worsted Tweed.

You can purchase the pattern on Andrea’s website.

There will be more combinations tomorrow. I came up with a few more as I was getting ready to leave for the day.

Meet Charlie. Beth and Lisa (who works with Beth) have been talking about the new pet Roomba from iRobot. They both wanted one but have put off buying it because it isn’t cheap. They made a deal that Beth would buy one for Lisa and Lisa would by one for Beth. If it’s a gift then you can justify the price. We set Charlie on his way each morning and he keeps our floors relatively hair free. Between Jackson and Lucy we have a lot of hair in our house.

Speaking of Jackson.

He doesn’t chew shoes but he likes to grab one and put it in his bed. This is his ‘I’m really cute so don’t get mad at me’ look.
