The mystery starts tomorrow

Tanis Lavallee has a new sweater and you can purchase the pattern on Ravelry or Tanis’ website

Tanis posted this on Instagram.

As soon as I finished knitting my Gartrell Cardigan I knew that I needed a pullover version! This classic crew neck shape is my absolute favourite style of sweater to wear. It’s comfy and cozy and classic cool. For me, the beauty of a seamed garment lies in the ability to make misatched sleeves! The way the colourful stripes on the sleeves line up perfectly, but don’t match, with the colourful stripes on the body is pure magic. This sweater is a blank slate for you to make your own with stripes, intarsia, colour blocking. Have fun with it!

The sweater is knit in DK weight yarn. If you have a large stash of fingering weight try doubling it. You should be able to get the tension.

Rockfall is a new sweater from Tin Can Knits - you can purchase the pattern on the Tin Can Knits website.

The ladies at Tin Can Knits write patterns that are very easy to follow.
There are 29 sizes from newborn to 6XL. The yarn? Worsted weight so you have many options.

What an amazing gift for a newborn.

A shipment arrived this afternoon with new colours of Manos Alegria. I took a few and made kits for the Shawlograhpy MKAL starting tomorrow.

Some knitters are very afraid of the Mystery part of the shawl. They like to know what they are knitting before they start. Here is something that might help. After each clue comes out, Stephen adds a Spoiler discussion in his Ravelry group. People can post pictures of their work so far. You will start seeing pictures tomorrow if you want to see how the shawl starts. Kits will stay on the website for another week for anyone who wants to join the fun.

I have my skeins at home and will wind them before bed. The pattern should be out around 6am ET tomorrow morning. Maybe I can cast on before heading to the store.
