Forever

We have a new sample - the Forever Sweater knit in Rowan’s Felted Tweed Colour. Lynda knit the sweater and Mr. Canada Post delivered it this morning.

A simple v-neck sweater, designed by Lisa Richardson, is given a colourful twist by using two balls of yarn at once and working two rows alternately from each ball throughout. The sweater is finished with rib details at the neck, cuffs and hem and also features long sleeves.

You will be able to wear this sweater forever.

We knit the sample in Blush - the same as in the book.

No two sweaters will turn out the same. The beauty of self-striping yarns.

Melanie Berg has a new pattern called Wayworn. You can purchase the pattern on Ravelry.

Luxurious and luminous, Wayworn adds that perfect touch of elegance to accompany you on all life’s journeys.

The construction creates a lovely combination of color and texture stripes, the generous size offers millions of styling options, and the silk-mohair yarn blend keeps the fabric airy yet warm.

The shawl is knit in a laceweight mohair/silk blend like Rowan Kidsilk Haze, Shibui Silk Cloud, Pro Lana Kid Seta, Hedgehog Kidsilk Lace, Biches & Buches Le Petit Silk & Mohair and Uschitita Kidsilk Lace.

Andrea Mowry didn’t release her new patterns today. I guess she’s waiting until next week. That’s probably better for me since I have other projects that I need to work on. Now back to my MKAL.
