Row Map

Say hello to Paperdawn, a captivating shawl that beautifully blends softness and substance, inspired by the gentle unfolding of a new day.

With its plush texture and comforting weight, Paperdawn evokes the tender touch of a favorite book, inviting you to experience the artistry of each page turned. Like the pages of a story, it reveals layers of beauty, symbolizing the transformative power of every dawn.

Elevate your wardrobe with the magical charm of Paperdawn – where casual coziness intertwines with the poetic essence of new beginnings. Let this shawl become an embodiment of comfort, style, and the unfolding chapters of your life’s story.

A Row Map is a printable checklist that accompanies each row in a knitting pattern. It provides clear guidance to the knitter, indicating which row they are currently working on, the corresponding written instruction to follow, and the recommended color to use. All you need to do is check off each row as you complete it, allowing the Row Map to seamlessly guide you from start to finish.

This is Melanie Berg’s latest pattern. You can purchase it on Ravelry.

Melanie is starting to add Row Maps to her best selling patterns.
This is a screen shot from one of her patterns. This makes keeping track of your colours and where you are in the pattern very easy.
The boxes from Hedgehog are unpacked and the website has been updated. Twist Sock has been restocked.

I got home from the store yesterday afternoon and cast on for the Westknits MKAL. I was doing something a little different for my square that I saw someone talk about in the Forums. Bad idea. My square looked awful. You would think that I had never knit before. I was going to write a post last night when I had part of the square done but instead I ripped out the square and pouted. I’ve found a different square that I’m going to try. Someone posted it in the Spoiler Forum and I liked it. She got the idea for the square from this website. I’ll try to knit enough tonight so that I can show pictures tomorrow. It is Survivor/The Amazing Race/baseball/hockey night so I might not be able to knit.

Dad, Beth and the dogs are off to the cottage tomorrow to get everything packed up so the cottage can be closed up for the winter. A couple who live on the lake have closed the cottage for years and they are going to continue doing it for us.
