New Bandanas

Stephen West released new patterns today.

The Dustland Sweater is knit seamlessly from the top collar down to the bottom ribbing. This solid sweater works beautifully with DK or worsted weight yarn. Solid or heathered yarns like La Bien Aimée Corrie Worsted or West Wool Tandem accentuate the crisp stitch definition. Simple knit and purl stitches like moss stitch, diagonal ribbing, and broken rib are framed by garter stitch rows for an easy to knit pullover. Try on the sweater as you knit to customize the length and fit it to your proportions. Once you finish the Dustland Sweater, there are also other fun patterns to knit like the Dustland Hat, Shawl, or Mitts, so you can have entire textured ensemble!

Enjoy simple and easy rows for this top-down semi-circular shawl. Choose a DK or worsted weight yarn and watch the squishy fabric grow toward the border. The biased border is knit at the end of the project while you knit and attach it to the live stitches. I-cord edges frame the curvy shape of this beginner friendly shawl.

This is the Corrugation Shawl.

For both patterns Stephen is suggesting a tension of 18sts = 4”. You have many, many yarn options.

I put together a new combination for The Shift. These came in our shipment yesterday afternoon. There wasn’t time today to play with more. I want to say ‘hopefully tomorrow’ but really I want us to be too busy with customers to make kits 😘
The dogs got new bandanas today. They wouldn’t sit still for pictures.
It was a struggle to put one on Jackson.
