Susurrus

Susurrus was originally published in the Pom Pom Spring 2020 magazine and now it’s available as an individual pattern on Ravelry.
A melody of spring, dances like primrose petals on the breeze. A pullover that whispers of renewal, with stitches blooming in rococo elegance, celebrating nature’s rebirth

The sweater is knit using a fingering weight yarn and a mohair/silk blend. Here are a few suggestions

  • Tosh Merino Light with Rowan Kidsilk Haze
  • Hedgehog Skinny Singles with Hedgehog Kidsilk Lace
  • Emma’s Practically Perfect Sock with Emma’s Suri Silk
I have knit a few of Joji’s patterns and I highly recommend them.

I put kits together today for Stripe Study and they are available online and in the store.

One Yarn Bomb from Freia Fibers has 786m/860 yards. That is enough yarn to make a large shawl.
This shawl is called Espe (pattern purchased on Ravelry). We used one Yarn Bomb in the colour Crabapple.

The shawl is worked in one piece, side-to-side, from a tiny six-stitch cast on, and it increases along one edge forming a practical, elongated triangle. A simple yarn over edging is worked along the two longer sides; this can be used for finishing since the blocking wires can be easily threaded through the yarn overs.

You can use one Yarn Bomb to make the Sonoma Scarf (pattern purchased on Ravelry). We suggest a 3.75mm or 4mm needle if you are using a Yarn Bomb.

It’s time to put my iPad away and start knitting. I want to get the colourwork finished on my Calypso Worsted.
