Spring Cleaning Pattern Suggestions

I quickly put together some kits for Andrea Mowry’s new shawl called Melt (pattern purchased on Ravelry). These are available in the store and online for an amazing price. The regular price is $276.50. The sale price is $207.41 and you will receive an extra 10% off of this. The sale pricing ends Tuesday evening.

You can also put together your own combination. You need 3 colours of Madelinetosh DK. 5 skeins of the main colour and 1 skein each of two contrasting colours.

Another great pattern option for Madelinetosh DK is Hipster. Lynn used 3 skeins of Night Bloom.

The shawl was designed by Joji Locatelli and you can purchase the pattern on Ravelry.

I confess not being able to channel my inner hipster too often… But sometimes I knit pieces like this warn and fuss free shawl and I can feel myself instantly transported to the coolest, little known coffeeshop in town…

Do you have an inner hipster?

And if you don’t, do you have a bit of time and some worsted yarn around you? I promise this is the coolest quickest shawl you’ll ever knit.

Lynn used one ball of Noro Akari to knit Andrea Mowry’s Traveler Cowl (pattern purchased on Ravelry).

Noro Akari is on for a great deal - $35.75 a ball. I’ve knit the cowl three times now and will be making more. The pattern is fun and for $35.75 you can start on Christmas gifts.

This is the Fae Wing Shawl (the pattern is free on Ravelry). We used one ball of Noro Akari - colour 19 on 4.5mm needles.

This Fae Wing was knit with one ball of colour 20.

Here is a link to everything that is on sale.

Thank you to everyone who has ordered so far. A lot of boxes went out by UPS this afternoon and there are going to be happy fiber people tomorrow (Monday or Tuesday if you live further away) when the big brown truck pulls up.
