New Pattern Tuesday

Joji has a new one skein shawl pattern. You can purchase the pattern for Amren on Ravelry.

In the quiet hours, under moon’s gentle gaze, Amren whispers. A single skein of silver dreams, delicate as morning’s first light. Not just a shawl, but a jewel to grace your presence.

A simple and delicate shawl designed to use a special skein of luxurious yarn.

Amren is worked in sections, from tip to tip alternating bands of easy lace, garter stitch and small short row wedges.

You need 400m/440 yards of fingering weight yarn to make the shawl.

From Joji
I used a single skein of yarn with a relatively long meterage, and I used EVERY SINGLE YARD. If you choose a skein of yarn that has less yardage than the recommended one, or if you normally use more yarn than what patterns call for, you may bind off sooner, or start the final lace section when you have 10 grams left. If you do so, you might need to adjust your stitch count so that it works with the lace pattern: a multiple of 6 + 5.

Blinding Lights is a new pattern from Melanie Berg (pattern purchased on Ravelry).

Blinding Lights has a free Row Map included, which makes knitting more accessible for chemo therapy patients and others who struggle with their concentration. Find out more about Row Maps here.

If you purchase 5 patterns from my Ravelry Store at the same time (add them all to your cart before you check out), the least expensive one will be free.

Like sunlight streaming through a mosaic window, Blinding Lights will add a lovely pop of color to your days!

Create your own dazzling display with a slipped stitch pattern and an elongated triangle shape that knits up quickly and has a beautiful drape.

The shawl is knit with a fingering weight yarn and mohair blend.

Beth is watching Deal or No Deal Island while I’m writing. It’s not a great show but Boston Rob makes it watchable. I’m going to continue working at the table - there will be a newsletter going out tomorrow evening. If you don’t receive our newsletter you can sign up on the website.
