Who wants to win a knitting kit?

After all the rain yesterday and then the cold wind today I figured everyone could use a pick me up.

We are giving away one kit for the Killer Queen Cowl. The kit contains 3 skeins of Malabrigo Rios and the colours are Reflecting Pool (2 skeins) and Queguay (1 skein). The kit we are giving away is for the colours in the cowl shown above. The pattern is not included in the kit - you can purchase it on Ravelry.

How can you win the kit?

  1. Leave a comment on this post with your first name and last initial, your hometown and your Ravelry name and/or Instagram name. If we don’t have your name we can’t contact you if you win.
  2. Comments are moderated. They won’t show up until I add them to the post.
  3. One comment per person please
  4. No colour substitution. The kit is Reflecting Pool and Queguay (the cowl shown at the top of the post).
  5. We will contact you right after the draw. The winner’s name will also be in a blog post the day after the draw. The winner will have 2 weeks to claim the prize. If it isn’t claimed in that time we will redraw.
  6. We will ship the kit anywhere in Canada or the US if you win.
On Friday February 2nd at 7pm EST we will do a random draw (picking one name) to see who wins the yarn.

Where do I leave the comment? Look at the bottom of the post.

It will say No Comments or 10 Comments or 30 Comments. Click on that and you can leave your information to try and win the bag of yarn.

Good Luck!

We have kits available online in great colourways. Maybe you want to get one knit before the draw. Diana has knit all 3 store samples and said that she enjoyed making the cowl. There were new stitches but they weren’t hard to learn.
It was a day of unpacking boxes and updating the website.
  • 2 big boxes from Rowan full of Felted Tweed and Kidsilk Haze
  • 1 box from Skacel with Addi needles (needle sets, FlexiFlips and circular) and Zauberball
  • 1 box full of Lantern Moon and Knitters Pride needles and accessories
Dad and Fred have gone home, the dishwasher is going and it’s time to knit.
