New MKAL

Casapinka has a new Mystery KAL starting next week.

The Sharon Air MKAL Begins August 12! Schematic for color planning is available right now and will update when pattern becomes available (please make sure you’re logged in when you purchase so it goes into your Ravelry inbox.)

You can use any 4 colors of yarn. Your colors can be a fade, variegated, color blocked, whatever you want. A few sections will require contrast but you will have enough yarn to alter the assigned color when you get there so don’t get hung up on that. You don’t need a lot of contrast for this shawl so that black and white phone trick is useless for this.

4 skeins of fingering weight yarn (400 yards each.) This is a perfect stash buster and remember that you don’t need to use all of the same brands or materials. You can also mix merino and silk, merino and nylon, etc.

This is a new shape of shawl for us and rather uncommon. It wraps nicely and can be made longer. It is suitable for the intermediate beginner. You have to just trust the cat.

You can purchase the pattern on Ravelry.

We have a few fingering weight yarns as part of our Birthday Celebration. Smooshy with Cashmere, Train Case, Soul Twist and Soul Single.

Skacel (the North American distributor of Crazy) posted this on Instagram.

The ebb and flow of ๐™•๐™–๐™ช๐™—๐™š๐™ง๐™—๐™–๐™ก๐™ก® ๐˜พ๐™ง๐™–๐™ฏ๐™ฎ yarn has had our attention for many years, and we don't plan on looking away anytime soon!

Two strands of the main ply have been dyed individually and then twisted together for a magical combination! The end result is a self-striping multi-colored pattern, with a bold variegated design.

Now available in over 35 colorways!

75% Superwash Wool
25% Nylon

I love Crazy but didn’t know how it was made. You learn something every day.

Yesterday was all about Elah. I knit most of the day and I’m 7” past the armhole. Over the next few days I need to figure out how long I want my cardigan.
