Cathy loves to knit for other people. She is knitting cowls for her mom, aunt, sister, cousin.... Hopefully she makes one for herself.
This is the Sanibel Cowl. It is a free pattern from Classic Elite. You need one ball of Lirico to make a cowl.
Do you receive Churchmouse Yarn's email newsletter? In the last few weeks they featured a new yarn with a great scarf called the Easy Triangle Scarf with Lang Lily. Louisa Harding Lirico is the same yarn as Lang Lily. The only difference is that Lirico is a larger ball with double the yardage. You need two balls of Lirico for their scarf.
You might be asking 'How can two companies have the same yarn?" There are only so many yarn manufacturers. They make yarns and take them to a yarn show in Italy. Rowan, Lang, Louisa Harding, Sirdar, Ella Rae, Trendsetter Yarns, Universal Yarns..... (all the yarn companies) go to the show and look at these yarns. They might request an exclusive but they might not. If there is no exclusive we could see multiple companies with the same yarn. Sometimes the colours are the same.
Another order is on the way from Spincycle Yarns. Meet Stay Out Of The Forest. A new colour of Dyed in the Wool that will be in the box.
