LYS Day

LYS Day is Saturday April 27th. We are so excited. The store will be open from 10am-4pm.

Emma’s Yarns is dying a special LYS Day colour. I can’t share it yet but I know you will love it. This colour will go live on the website on LYS Day.

We have it coming on many bases

• Washable Worsted Wool
• Super Silky (Wool/Silk blend in fingering weight)
• Simply Spectacular DK
• Practically Perfect Sock

Emma is also dying up a special Theme Pack for the day.

We will have two skein kits from Emma’s. These are the Super Silky base - a fingering weight yarn that is 80% superwash merino and 20% silk.

These kits are from last year and will be available again this LYS Day. We will have 6 new colourways this year.

Another special LYS Day kit will be a skein of Super Silky with a skein of Marvelous Mohair. I will have a blog post this week with pattern suggestions.

I have some fun plans for the day. I’ll share those later this week. There will be door prizes and we will be giving double points that day.

Now it’s time to put my feet up and knit. Mr. UPS took a lot of boxes today - watch for the Big Brown Truck if you ordered last week.
