Lucky Striped

Kit from Churchmouse Yarns has been busy.

The Lucky Striped Poncho is a fun riff on one of our favorite Classics. Inspired by the Easy Folded Poncho, designer Kit took a playful approach to a six-stripe sequence—she let a roll of the dice choose how it would come out!

As she knit the Lucky Striped Ponchos, Kit would toss one die to determine what color she'd use next, and a second to decide how wide to make the stripe. Using this method on your own poncho allows for wonderful randomness—and ensures it'll be one of a kind. Now, it's your turn to roll!

You can purchase the pattern on the Churchmouse website.

There are endless combinations available. We currently have 59 colours of Felted Tweed in stock.
Here are some suggestions from Churchmouse.

If you don’t feel like striping, you can use Felted Tweed Colour. The yarn will do the work for you.

This is the Easy Fold Poncho (pattern purchased on the Churchmouse website).

Another yarn suggest for the two poncho patterns is Arranmore Light from The Fibre Co. We have 4 brand new colours (along with a restock of existing colours) coming next week.

I have a few rows in me and then bed. Tonight I’m working on my Nightshift. This is mindless knitting. Tomorrow I am going to finish my sleeves on Elah. The first sleeve is at the ribbing. I think. I need to try it on and make sure.
