Home Again

Stephen West’s books are back in stock. They come from a distributor in the US and shipping to Canada is too expensive. I had them shipped to dad and he brought them home.

Mr. Canpar dropped by this morning with a box of Cascade 220 Superwash Merino. There are new colours. The plan was for these to be on the website tonight but that isn't going to happen. It's early to bed because I'm having dental work done early in the morning. 

Dad and Lucy made it home last night. The drive was good but it rained most of the way. We were all a little worried about the border. My dad doesn’t do technology. He has a flip phone. He doesn’t have an email address. No iPad or laptop. Beth filled out everything into the ArriveCan App before dad left so we could just put in his test results and arrival date when it was time for him to come home. Then we would email all the paperwork to friends in Myrtle Beach for them to print. Good plan but it didn’t work. Beth had to re-enter everything on Friday after dad had his Covid test. Then she didn’t have some information so she had to go to the office to get it. Saying that she was frustrated is an understatement. She was questioning how other seniors get the information filled in if they are technologically challenged. 

When dad arrived at the border he handed the border agent his passport, vaccine information, test results and a print out of the ArriveCan information. The agent looked quickly and then asked dad to put down his back window. When he saw Lucy he totally forgot about anything else. Just wanted to play with her. Thank goodness. All the paperwork was in order but you just don’t know.

The dogs were excited to see each other at dinner. Boscoe was over the moon to see his grandpa.

Shipment updates

Della Q is scheduled to arrive on Wednesday. 

Blue Sky Fibres should also be arriving this week. There are 21 Color Slouch, Mitt and Scarf kits. We will finally have the holiday Woolstok Mini bundles as well.

Spincycle is shipping some Dream State to us this week.

Two different shipments of Addi needles have been shipped from BC but I'm not sure how long they will be held up for with the flooding.
