What would I make with the Rowan Felted Tweed? That is a very difficult question because Rowan Felted Tweed is one of my favourite yarns, and it is so versatile, you can make many things with it.
The first thing that comes to mind is “Beatie” by Mary Henderson, which is in Issue 194 of The Knitter. It would be a lot of fun choosing different colours to work the motifs. I have seen a couple of scarves by Marie Wallin that would be fun to do. Another option would be that afghan that has all the little houses. Can’t remember the name but it wouldn’t be hard to find. Georgia Farrell has done a few geometric designs in felted tweed that could be adapted to more colours. I’ve been looking at Ethel by Lisa Richardson. But maybe I would have a go at Bessie by Lisa Richardson. Both of those patterns are designed for Felted Tweed.
Fabulous yarn, just love it

I looked long and hard at the Kaffe pillows, especially the pin wheels. If I were to win the bundle though, I would do a temperature throw. I’ve wanted to do one for a while and having a predetermined palette makes the project feel more manageable.

I would make the Chevron patterned scarf from Vogue Knitting Scarves. It lends itself to 2 colour or multi- colour stripes. You can also adjust the width to accommodate the available yarn quantity. Other ideas include Beth’s tubular scarf in a heavier weight of yarn and many multiple coloured toques, mitts and neck warmers for charity.
I would make the Andrea Mowry sweater. Love Felted Tweed.

Hi, I'm Betsy C; @Pipsissewa on IG and bcaruso on Ravelry. This selection of colors is exactly what I tend to choose when planning something wonderful. I've not used Rowan felted tweed, but I think I'd adapt The K Fassett circles to make a throw to replace my rather tatty current one. The hues would pop with the colors in our home.
Thanks for offering this collection, Andrea!
