Ambah has a new pattern. This is called the Cosmos Blossom Shawl and you can purchase it on Ravelry.
Knit yourself a gorgeous floral lace shawl.
Inspired by the beautiful crochet granny square garments I have been seeing everywhere, it occurred to me I could create a lace knit shawl joined together in a similar way.
A deep dive into creating the perfect lace square later and I became obsessed with all the possibilities this project lends itself to. The square block would also make a wonderful throw - as per the Radvent Throw.
There are so many options with this cosy piece. Choose between fingering or DK weight yarn and express yourself with a bold colourful patchwork piece, a neutral, muted shawl or try both, using a neutral and adding a bright pop of colour.
Perfect for stash diving, and the fingering weight squares will use up those 20-gram minis you’ve been collecting. Or treat yourself to some beautiful new yarn and knit yourself a piece to treasure.
Pattern includes both charted and written instructions for the Cosmos Blossom Lace and a pinhole cast on video tutorial.

A daily pattern sale!
Join me for my annual Knit August promotion created to showcase some of my all time favourite designs. Every day in August I feature a surprise pattern of the day from my catalog with an automatic 50% discount.
There are a few ways to keep track of the daily featured pattern; sign up here to receive the Knit August pattern reveal e-mail, follow me on Instagram, Facebook or join my Ravelry group. Each day I’ll share the newly featured pattern – it is always a surprise, I often don’t know myself until the day which will be next featured pattern! I can tell you this though; to allow for international timezones each Knit August promoted pattern will last for 48 hours.
I have knit many of Ambah’s patterns and we have had many of her patterns knit up for store samples. She writes a great pattern that is easy to follow.
Here are some that I have knit.
Grevillea. I didn’t realize that I never showed a picture of Grevillea after it was blocked. There was no way to go outside for pictures (it is pouring rain here) so here is one from in the store. I love this shawl. I wore it when I was in Chicago and everyone at the show commented on it.
KimbaLamina
Lilli Pilli knit by Cathy.
Our Bambara store sample. And this isn’t all of them. As you can see I am a big Ambah fan. Her patterns are timeless. I think you’ll want to watch the sale.
