This circular blanket begins in the center with the star shape. Stripes, brioche, short rows, and eyelets continue around the star to form the large cozy size. Choose DK weight yarn in four contrasting colors or dive into your collection of yarns to make a scrappy colorful version. The Starflanket makes a graphic statement piece for your living room or bedroom.

The multi-color sample uses a variety of DK and worsted weight yarn for splashy stash busting blanket. You can also hold two strands of fingering weight yarn together for marled stripes. Mix those bases and use this blanket like a coloring book with all of your fibers.
I bet that most of us can go through our yarn at home and can come up with enough to start the blanket, if not knit the whole blanket.
I put a link in yesterday's post to Deirdre's Aurealis on Ravelry. Here is a picture - it looks great. Another sweater I'm adding to my list of must haves.
It was a day of relaxing. Lots of knitting. Boscoe helped with the photo shoot. He might have been a bit too close at times - so close that there was yarn in his mouth.
We're watching game 6 of the 1993 World Series. Touch 'em all Joe.
