Goldwing

Jenn Steingass has a new pattern, Goldwing, that you can purchase on Ravelry. Take a look at the finished projects on Ravelry - there are so many colour combinations and they all look great. There are dark bodies with light colourwork and light bodies with dark colourwork. Someone even used Dream State for their colourwork.
Goldwing is a top down and seamless circular yoke sweater with colorwork sleeves and an applied I-cord cuff. This project knits up quickly with DK or worsted weight yarn. Using just 2 colors, the contrast and main colors switch at the midway point of the yoke for both dark on light and light on dark colorplay. Options for your choice of rolled or ribbed neckline are included. This pattern is suitable for stranded colorwork beginners with rhythmic and easy to knit motifs. The feathers and colors were inspired by the Golden Snitch from Harry Potter!
Ms. DHL came late this afternoon with our order from Spincycle. We received 4 colours of Dyed in the Wool that have been out of stock for some time.
Neveruary
Shades of Earth - I will be taking a few of these. The colour is so amazing!

Spring cleaning has continued.

We knit two different versions of the Nightshift in a cotton/acrylic blend. These kits are on sale for $100. Don't wait - we only have 5 kits left.

Boscoe went to doggie day care today - the same one that Lucy used to go to. He came home and was so tired. He didn't move for over an hour which isn't like Boscoe.
He finally moved and followed Beth upstairs. He loves sitting on the stairs. It's even better if you sit with him.
