Deals

Lynn and I spent the day moving things around in the store. We are trying to get everything ready to open and we would like to clear out some of our sale yarns.

On the clearance page for kits we have The Hug Shot. This kit is two skeins of Dream in Color Smooshy Cashmere. Here are some shawls that Joji has designed using one skein of fingering weight. A Hug Shot kit will make two shawls.

Positive Vibes (pattern purchased on Ravelry) is another great option for the Hug Shot kit.

Another option is Ambah’s Delphinia shawl (pattern purchased on Etsy)

If you are a sock knitter we have marked down some colours of Opal - they are marked with Sale.

I found three kits for Spincycle’s Cara Cowl. The kit is one skein of Melancholia (the teal) with one skein of Tell-Tale Heart (the earth tones). The cowl is so warm and it is easy to knit.
Here is a link to all the kits that are on sale.

We are waiting for dad and Beth to come and put some grid up for us. Then we will be able to hang kits and skeins. This idea hit me this afternoon. I think/hope it will look good when we are finished.

Beth and I are picking up Jackson on Friday morning. I have a feeling that Beth won’t sleep on Thursday night and is going to have me up very early.

Jackson is learning lots like picking up the mail. Linda takes him out every day.

He’s meeting lots of people as well. Linda says that everyone loves him.

Oh, I don't know how you could bear to give up two whole weeks of puppy time! Still, training is important and I'm sure you'll make up for it with extra snugs (and photos!). :)

The shawls are just beautiful. Shawls are so lovely to have in our wardrobes. And, it's lovely to have one or two across chairs in the living room to offer to guests when the weather is chilly.

Jackson seems to be enjoying his socialization. We do that with all of our new pups. Our daughter takes them to work (she owns her own building so can do this) and passes them around the office. They meet clients and neighbors. She also takes them to our dog club where they are passed around, cuddled, and meet other dogs. It's so important to do this while they are young.
