Pretty in Pink

Mary sent an email this morning showing her beautiful new sweater knit in Rowan Felted Tweed.
The pattern is called Alabaster Jumper and is only available in the book 4 Projects Felted Tweed book from Rowan.
This sweater has been a labour of love - love cables but labour intensive. I started it on March 30 and finished it this morning, Knit on it every day (except for a one week break).  It fits perfectly, even the sleeve length is good.
Thanks for sharing Mary.
The Cowl begins at the top and is 24” - but gradually expands until it is 34” at the base, making it nice and casual but never too tight. You will enjoy the constantly changing stitches and colors. If you can do slipped stitches and a little bit of simple lace, you will be fine.
This is the Criterion Cowl from Casapinka. You can purchase the pattern on Ravelry.
Three colors of fingering weight yarn, 200 yards/50g each. These are half skeins and if you have 3 full size skeins you can make 2 cowls and change the color order around!

We had a beautiful rainbow last night. It went right over the house.

Beth was weeding the garden this morning so she put Boscoe on his leash. He loves to run in the garden. She flipped the pool over to drain it and this happened. He looks like an angel - looks can be deceiving!

I was at work when Beth texted me the photo and I wrote my post. When I got home I heard the real story. He flipped the pool over. He was upset to be on the leash. 😈
