Chevrons

Photos © Stephen West
Painting Chevrons is Stephen West's newest pattern and you can purchase it on Ravelry
Painting Chevrons is a large rectangular wrap with slipped stitches. Increases and decreases form the chevron points and you can knit the scarf as long as you want. Choose DK weight yarn for a large width and wingspan or knit the same instructions with fingering weight yarn for a more drapey lightweight wrap. This pattern is very simple with garter stitch and stockinette stitch, so it’s ideal for knitting while watching your favorite shows.

These colours are gorgeous.

Lynda and Diana are in need of projects.
They are going to knit the same pattern - Nightshift in Noro Akari.

You might ask 'why do you keep knitting up the shawl?' Sometimes you need to see a project knit to know if you are going to like the colours. One of these finished shawls might help you decide that you need to knit the Nightshift.

Lynda is getting the purple and green version. I know this looks good because a customer used them for a shawl. Diana is getting the bottom colours. I haven't seen these knit up yet but they are going to look good. Nice and bright for summer.

It was box day. Dad and Lucy spent time in the store with me this morning. Thankfully Lucy was slightly out of the way today.

I made it to section 5. I'd like to keep knitting but my bed is calling me.
