Restocking

Arranmore Light is back in stock.
Inspired by the breathtaking scenery of Ireland’s Northern Headlands, Arranmore Light yarn is spun in a mill that traces its roots to the homespun tweed industry of 19th century County Donegal. A finer weight than the popular Arranmore, Arranmore Light blends cashmere and silk with a fine merino wool to create an authentic tweed yarn of the finest quality. With a colour palette reminiscent of the wild Irish coastlands, Arranmore Light was designed for makers appreciating the best of luxury and tradition.

Each skein is a work of art. A truly unique self-striping hand dyed merino collection of vibrant colours.
The Butterfly shawl takes two skeins of Uneek Fingering and one skein of a solid or semi solid fingering weight - we used Hedgehog Sock in Graphite.

More Uneek Sock kits arrived as well.
Self-Striping sock kit for matching socks. Kit contains 2 pre-wound cakes.

Alex took a kit home last night (#55) and has started a pair of mittens. She is using the Addi Flexi Flips and loves them.

One of the many boxes that came in on Tuesday had a new yarn from Sirdar. Alpine is 100% Polyester and the animals are knit on 6.5mm needles.

Dad, Beth and Lynn were in charge of the garden and flower pots while I was away. They did a great job. I came home to lots of new blooms.

I was in a rush to get to work this morning and forgot my knitting. There are already a lot of pictures so I'll get pictures of my shawl tomorrow.
