Scents

Frabjous Fibers has a new pattern (that is free) called the Ziggity-Zag Blanket.
This snuggly, squishy chevron striped blanket is a great thrown for your lap, your kiddo, your armchair, your picnic, or wherever and whenever you need some cuddly color in your life!
Designed with Wonderland Yarns So Fond of Rainbows 20-skein Pack on the March Hare worsted base.
What a fun way to play with lots of colour. We have two different colourways of the kit in stock right now. I will see the finished blanket this weekend - I am sure it is going to be even more beautiful in person.

Alex has finished blocking my Fading Point and will be dropping it off tomorrow. She always uses Soak for blocking (I do as well).
What is it: Soak is modern laundry care. Clean up with Soak’s eco-friendly formulation. Developed to be as easy on the environment as it is on your clothes, it’s the no-rinse clean you trust and love.
Soak is perfect for your laciest lingerie, softest sweaters, baby clothes, quilts, swimwear, workout wear and all the laundry you love. love it. wear it. soak it.
How it works: Just Soak and squeeze. No need to rinse. Lay knits flat to dry. Wash sets (like lingerie) together. Test fabric for color-fastness.
  • made with plant derived and renewable ingredients
  • biodegradable, phosphate-free, dye-free, sulphate-free
  • safe for hand or machine washing (including HE)
Fig: Fresh-picked clean. Fig is ripened with sweet fig and lychee and crowned by dandelions.
It is super easy to use. As you are filling a sink with cold water, add a bit of Soak. You will see bubbles. Add your knitting (or whatever you are going to wash) and let it sit. Sometimes I let it sit for 15 minutes. Sometimes I forget and it's 2 hours. You can't hurt it. Then take your knitting out and roll it in a towel to remove the excess water. You don't need to rinse out the Soak. Then lay out your knitting (pinning if necessary) to dry.

Like I said, it is super easy and you will notice a big difference in your finished project. The stitches lie flatter and are more even. And it smells amazing!
There are many great scents
-Fig
-Celebration
-Lacey
-Yuzu
-Pineapple Grove

If you don't like scents, there is Scentless as well.

Now it's laundry time if I'm going to have clean clothes to pack tomorrow. Then a bit of knitting before bed. I need to be up early in the morning to wash the floors in our house. We are hosting Father's Day on Sunday. I'll make it home just in time for dinner so I should do some work before I go to help :)
