The Good News First

A bit of good news then sad news from Sweetgeorgia Yarns.

New Party of Five sets are coming! Our mini-skein gradient sets have been so well-received since we started dyeing them last year, but one thing many knitters have been asking for is some neutral palettes. This is the most requested palette — a five-shade pack of cool greys that we're calling "Graphite".

This is just the first of five new gradient colour sets that we are releasing in 2016

I have all the colours ordered. I'm confident that Felicia at Sweetgeorgia will put together great combinations. The kits will be on display next month in Washington DC when I go to TNNA and I'll get pictures. We're very excited for the show to be moving to a new city. Beth is particularly excited about visiting the Smithsonian. The hardest part is deciding which Smithsonian to visit.

The Party of Five Cashluxe Spark kits have been discontinued. We still have stock but don't delay.

The Reverb Shawl is a free pattern and takes one kit. This is the English Bay colourway.

The kit contains 5 mini skeins - each skein is 91m / 100yards.

CashLuxe Spark is just like our beloved CashLuxe Fine yarn with a sprinkling of sparkle! This yarn is 80% superwash merino, 10% cashmere, and 10% sparkling stellina spun up into a 3-ply fingering weight yarn.

We also have a few kits in Golddigger and Honey Fig.

I've knit two shawls with the kits and the yarn is beautiful. I highly recommend it.
