Here is another pattern for Lore from The Fibre Co. If you purchase the yarn for the sweater we will email you a copy of the pattern.

Crummock is a classic V-neck pullover with plush cables on the left of the body and sleeve. Designed by Neringa Ruke for Lore, it uses a clever centre-front seam to join the panels of stocking and reverse stocking stitch.

Processed in a mill in England’s historical textile region of West Yorkshire, Lore is made of 100% lambswool from the Romney sheep breed also referred to locally as Kent lamb. It is an honest woolen spun DK weight yarn that blooms into a beautiful knitted fabric after washing. Garments made from Lore will wear well and are perfect for everyday and special adventures alike. Everyone loves a free pattern. The Royal Oak Cowl is knit in Woolstok. You will need 3 skeins of Woolstok (the pattern is calling for a large skein which we don’t carry)

The Royal Oak Cowl is cozy and cabled, made with one 150 gram hank of Woolstok and will keep you warm on the coldest night.

Mustard

 

My order is in for the new knitting bags. I have started adding them to the website (I should be finished tomorrow) and we hope to have them in the store at the end of the month.

I wasn’t sure about the Mustard colour but the more I look at it the more I like it. 

I was in the store this morning to meet Mr. Canada Post and then I came home to write a newsletter. It has been started for two weeks but I can’t sit down and finish it. It still isn’t finished. 😢 Maybe tomorrow.

Rannerdale is a super-wearable raglan pullover with a stylish folded neckband and pretty cable detail-ing down the center of both sleeves. It is constructed seamlessly from the top down and uses short rows to create a slight scoop at the front neck. Designed for Lore by Kari-Helene Rane, this warm and lofty layering sweater will fit seamlessly into any handmade wardrobe.

It’s time to turn off the computer. I might have a few rows of knitting in me. I’m working on the sleeve so they are very short rows.

Hello! My name is Annie and I am a knitwear designer based out of Cape Cod, MA, USA.

I aim to create knitwear that has a bohemian, youthful style. I enjoy creating knitting patterns that keep knitters engaged, incorporating fun details like crochet edging, cables, and lace, and I always aim for great fit and comfort. 

I’ve been following Annie Lupton (bohochicfiberco) on Instagram for some time and finally asked for permission to share her patterns with you.

The Boho Romance Shawl is a triangle shaped shawl that uses the same lacework pattern as my Boho Romance Crop and Tunic Patterns. The design features a section of stockinette stitch followed by a wavy lace border and sweet picot bind off. It’s the perfect combination of simple knitting and interesting stitch patterns!

I got up this afternoon to make a tea and laid my knitting in the chair beside me - Boscoe’s chair. He was lying on the floor and decided to jump into my chair. I am half way through the sleeve on Skylights. I haven’t worked the tubular bind off on the body yet. I’m going to try it on the sleeve first - a lot less stitches to practice on.

We gave out 100 goodie bags last night and then turned out the lights. There were still more kids but... There is a family with three kids just down the street. The first one got the last goodie bag. Beth didn’t have anything for the other two so she gave them her pumpkins. The kids were so happy. Go figure.
