Kaffe does it again

Be still my heart. This is gorgeous!!!
This cardigan combines a lush, massive floral motif with a comfortable oversized fit for the perfect winter sweater!
Designed by the legendary Kaffe Fassett, this cardigan is knit in one piece from the bottom back hem up to the neck and then down each front for an almost seamless finished garment. Stitches for the sleeves are cast on at the underarm, and the sleeves, hem and neckline are finished with a garter stitch border. Minimal shaping means that you can focus on the challenge of stranded colorwork and intarsia for each flower motif.
We hope you enjoy this iconic sweater from Rowan's collection.
The new Knitty is live. The minute I saw this I emailed Amy and asked if I could use her pictures. This pattern is free! Can you believe it? Thank you Amy for this.
The cardigan is knit with Rowan Felted Tweed.
Ask any Rowan fan for their favourite yarn and there's a good chance it'll be Felted Tweed. Spun in a light DK weight, with a beautiful tweed effect and an amazing 40 colours to choose from, it's a Fair Isle knitter's dream. But that's not all. The magical combination of 50% lightly-felted wool, 25% viscose and 25% alpaca makes it supremely blockable and a gorgeous option for lacework as a result. Or knit it in garter stitch for a drapey, squishable fabric that is cosy, but light and easy to wear. Choose from nature-inspired shades ranging from cool watery tones to warming cherry red and fiery ginger and prepare to fall in love! Now available in special colourways chosen by world-renowned designers Kaffe Fassett and Dee Hardwicke

Make sure you check out the whole issue. Kate Atherley has a great pair of socks.

Lynn and I finally got all the Life in the Long Grass photographed and the website is updated. Yummy.

Our next order is on the way to us from Malabrigo. We'll have more colours of Rasta next week. All 'Out of Stock' colours are in the box except for Piedras which should be coming in the next shipment (arriving just before Christmas).

Beth and I are putting together cookie tins for Beth to take to work tomorrow. They are looking really good. Of course we are trying the different cookies to make sure they taste good - she can't give out bad cookies😘
