Shadow

There are new colours in one of my favourite yarns.

From Classic Elite Yarns
We are thrilled to introduce Liberty Wool Shadow. The same great worsted weight, machine washable wool you love with a hand dyed look. Subtly dyed, these tone-on-tone shades will work well together with the Liberty Wool Prints and Solids.
We have two colours now and will be receiving two new colours a month for the next five months. Each month we will have two new patterns that are free with the purchase of Liberty Wool.
Worked in pieces from the bottom up, this raglan pullover as a figure flattering A-line shape. Shown with stripes in a printed colorway of Liberty Wool, a contrasting Liberty Wool solid or Liberty Wool Shadow shade would work as well.
An aran pullover sized for kids through big teenagers – up to medium sized adults. Knit a size larger than your child’s current size to allow for growth and maximum wear. All cable patterns have a 16 row repeat for ease of knitting.
I took pictures of the balls so that you could see the true colours. They are both great.

My hotel room is booked. June seems like a long time from now but it will be here before we know it. Heading to the trade show in the US is always fun and I want to make sure I'm in the hotel with all the 'cool kids'. :)

I started to cast on (I do the Cable Cast On) with the Studio Linen last night. It was a slow process. Today I switched to Addi Rockets (slightly pointier than original Addis) and the cast on was a breeze. We have The Good Fight taped from last night and I should get through a few rows tonight. Churchmouse shipped the new patterns today. I can't wait to show pictures on Thursday.

Do you use cable cast on for everything?

What are you knitting with the linen?

I use the Cable Cast on for most of my knitting.

You'll see later today.

Where can I find the pattern for that sweater?

Ingrid - the patterns are available in the store with the purchase of Liberty Shadow. They will be available to purchase on Ravelry in approximately 8 months.
