This shawl popped up on my memories today.
The pattern is called Espe (pattern purchased on Ravelry). I love this shawl! It was knit with 2 full skeins of fingering weight yarn. We don’t have the yarn anymore but any fingering will work. If you want a smaller shawl you can go down needle size (ours is knit on a 5mm which makes it light and airy). You can also stop knitting when you are happy with the size - the pattern is super easy to adjust.
Alex popped in on Saturday with my blocked Traveler Cowl. I used Eleventh Hour Spincycle Dyed in the Wool. I think this is my 8th Traveler Cowl. It is a great project and I highly recommend it to everyone. As you can see I haven’t sewn in the ends. Maybe tomorrow. I love the sweater. So much that I’m going to wind yarn to cast on another one.
DON’T FORGET THAT THE STORE WILL BE CLOSED ON SATURDAY MARCH 28TH.
I’m leaving on March 20th for a cruise. Lynn will be in the store
- Friday March 20th
- Saturday March 21st
- Wednesday March 25th
- Thursday March 26th
- Friday March 27th
Orders will be shipped while I’m away. Lynn and I text and talk. I email her the packing slip so she can print it. She pulls the yarn and texts me the box size. Then I make the shipping label and email it to her. She gets the box sealed up for Mr. UPS or Mr. Canada Post. We might be a bit slower than normal but boxes will be going out.
I will be back in the store on Monday March 30th to ship any orders Lynn doesn’t get out.
I think I will be knitting another Happy Camp Sweater while I’m away.
This sweater is going to be one size smaller and a bit longer. I’m off to my sewing room where my ball winder lives.
