The Traveler Hood

Sometimes you just need a little extra something. Not a full sweater, but more than a cowl. Just a little extra shield from the wind to keep your core and the back of your neck (okay, let’s throw the ears in there, too) a bit cozier on those blustery days! The Traveler Hood is knit from the bottom up, flat, with short rows to shape the shoulders and hood.

Andrea Mowry has a new pattern called The Traveler Hood (pattern purchased on Ravelry).

The Hood is knit with sportweight yarn.

We should have a few more sets of the new Lykke Flight needles next week.
-the 5” Standard set in a purple case
-the 5” Bulky set in a denim case

I will add these to the website as soon as I have the shipping confirmation. Our supplier is sold out and doesn’t know when more will arrive - they are hoping for the end of November.

The baseball game didn’t go well last night. I hope they use the day off wisely and we see something better tomorrow evening.

I was busy today but didn’t accomplish much. Now I’m going to relax and get back to my sweater. I wore my Alpine Bloom on Saturday and want to make another one using Kathmandu fingering. I will not start it until Giardino is finished!

Tonight’s tv is the first episode of the new season of Matlock followed by baseball and hockey.
