Tanis used DK weight yarn for her sweater. Don’t forget that you can hold two strands of fingering weight together to make DK weight. 

The football game has started and the baseball game starts in an hour. Have a good evening. I’m moving to my knitting chair to watch and work away on Giardino. I still have 5” of stocking stitch before I do the ribbing on the bottom. I’m knitting as fast as I can.
