Two More Sleeps

My yarn is wound and ready to go. I chose Dyed in the Wool in the new colour Side Quest. The Traveler Cowl takes 3 skeins so I wound them all and put each skein in a baggie. I number the skeins and mark down if I’m knitting from the inside or the outside. This way I will have a smooth colour transition and you won’t know that I started a new ball. Putting the skeins in bags keeps them neat when I jam them in my suitcase.
Alex has some blocking to do. This is her Frame Your Face Cowl (pattern purchased on Ravelry) knit with Dyed in the Wool (Always Yours) and Suri Silk (Lemongrass - held double strand). You need 2 skeins of each yarn for the cowl. The cowl is so soft - I will share pictures after it’s blocked.

Alex has started a Musselburgh hat for herself using Dyed in the Wool Afternoon Delight.
We had crazy snow at the store this afternoon. I locked up at 4:20 and just got home. Over 3 hours for a drive that normally takes 20 minutes. The roads in Ancaster were crazy icy. Cars were getting stuck trying to go up slight hills and roads were being closed because of it. I’m going to say goodnight and try to relax.

Our backyard looks very pretty.
