Stashbuster

Meet the Sundial Wrap - a new pattern from Wool & Pine. You can purchase the pattern on Ravelry.

Stashbusters, here’s your next project! Sundial Wrap is designed to turn your treasured mini skeins, advent sets, handspun and colorful scraps into a stunning, wearable textile. With stripes that only need 14 grams of fingering weight yarn, Sundial makes it easy to mix, match, and play with color in a way that feels both intentional and joyfully improvised.

This wrap features mosaic knitting—an easy colorwork technique using only knits and slipped stitches (no purls at all!). Each row is worked with one color at a time, creating a beautifully interlocked design that looks far more intricate than it is. Whether you’re reaching for bold brights, subtle neutrals, or a mix of both, Sundial’s rhythmic pattern lets your colors shine.

Simple stitches, endless possibilities, and an addictively fun rhythm—Sundial Wrap is ready for your stash to take center stage.

Design Details

Sundial Wrap uses the 2-color garter mosaic technique, knit flat on the bias for a dynamic diagonal drape. Crisp i-cord edges frame the design, ensuring a polished finish. Instructions are included to easily customize the width and length of your wrap, making it adaptable to your style and yarn supply.

The pattern also includes clear instructions on when and how to change colors, so you can confidently let your yarn shine without second-guessing your choices.

Add tassels for a chic finishing touch or keep it sleek and simple—the choice is yours!

Thank you Wool & Pine for the amazing pictures. These add lots of colour to my post.

Over the Christmas holidays we sold a lot of Addi FlexiFlips. Mr. UPS brought a restock today and the website has been updated. We also received a few colours of Crazy Zauberball.

Here is a video from Vicki Howell explaining FlexiFlips

Here is Very Pink Knits video and review.

I find it is good to watch different videos on the same technique. You will get different instructions and sometimes you will pick up tips from one that the other doesn’t show.

The boxes from Emma’s and Spincycle have been added to the website. In the next week we should see boxes from The Fibre Co (a huge restock of Arranmore Light) and Biches & Buches (a restock of all yarns).

It’s home time which means knitting time. I have finished the first chart repeat on my first sleeve (26 rows). I am supposed to knit 39 more rows. Hopefully I can get a chunk knit tonight.
