Temperature Blanket

I had a customer in this week picking out colours of Rowan Felted Tweed to make a Temperature Blanket. This is Denise’s blanket from a few years ago. She used the Kaffe Fassett colourway that I put together.
I haven’t finished my blanket yet - it’s now in storage. It will be a combination of a few years when it gets finished.
This got me thinking. There are days in the store when I have a few minutes and want something to knit on but don’t want anything with lots of counting or fancy stitches. I am going to do a store blanket. These are my colours. Originally I used 16 colours but this time I am using 14. It will be the light blue/green for the coldest and the dark purple grey for the warmest. Not exactly temperature like but I like how the colours go together. This time I am going to cast on 200 stitches so it is more of a throw than a blanket.
I cast on yesterday afternoon and finished two days. I started day three.

It was a lazy day at my house. I’m working on my Framed Sweater and will have pictures tomorrow.

Beth and I are doing a visit to the new house tomorrow. The owners are away and we’ll have time to walk through and get some measurements. I’m very excited!!

I’ve happily started my 2nd Temperature Blanket with several new colour swaps of Rowan Felted Tweed.
