The beloved Easy Folded Poncho is essentially one long, stockinette stitch rectangle—a great starting point for lots of variation! Using our original pattern and a free adaptation, we’ve added a ribbed cowl neck to this timeless favorite. It’s perfect for a bit of extra coziness!
We knit this Easy Folded Poncho in a tweedy, black shade of Rowan Fine Tweed Haze. This DK-weight yarn is a fascinating blend of South African mohair and super-fine alpaca, supported by polyamide, cotton, and polyester. All along its bouncy, chainette-style strand, contrasting flecks of fiber peek out of a romantic, fuzzy halo. Warm and sooo soft, Fine Tweed Haze is such a fun yarn—and perfect for a cuddly poncho!
Churchmouse sent out an email today with a new adaption to their Easy Folded Poncho. You can purchase the original pattern on Ravelry or on the Churchmouse website. The adaptation is a free download on the Churchmouse website.
We have all the colours of Fine Tweed Haze in stock.
This is Madelinetosh’s Unicorn Stripes Scarf (pattern purchased on Ravelry). Lynn and I put together kits today and they are an amazing price. We’ve put together great colours - they are a bit different than the sample - I think the finished scarf will be amazing. Here is a link to the kits - hurry before they’re gone.
The kits are $165 (down from $330). It’s time for Unicorn Tails to move to your house. These are limited in number and when they are gone we can’t make anymore.
Lynn and I (mostly Lynn) did a lot of tidying in the store. Tomorrow we will start getting the boxes ready to go outside on Saturday morning.
Here are a couple sneak peeks of what is coming from Della Q later this fall. The Makers Hat Box.Hook & Needle Notebook.
