Noro Akari

Alex spent a bit of time knitting last night. She was looking a little tired today. 😉I love how her colours are working out. Noro Akari is super soft and the stitch definition is great.

Here is my latest Nightshift. I am using Dream State.

My only colour change from the original is Neveruary. I have had a skein in my stash for a while. I am reversing the order of the colours. Someone did it on Ravelry and it grabbed my eye.

This poncho is knit in Noro Ito but you could also knit it in the new Akari. A fabulous summer weight poncho to wear on cool evenings. It would be great for the office as well. You need 2 balls and the pattern is free when you purchase the yarn.

 We spent some time today putting together colour combinations for The Shift.

 

Dad and Lucy are leaving for Myrtle Beach early tomorrow morning. We always have dinner the night before someone goes on a trip. The Works was dad's choice. We had a great dinner but it did cut into my knitting time. Alex will definitely have her shawl finished before me.
