Stave off the chill wind with this cosy shawl, which pays homage to the dragon of lore with a slipped garter colorwork pattern that hints of scales.
It’s worked in garter stitch from tip to edge, then neatly finished with I-cord bind-off.

We have 4 new colours of Liberty Wool Shadow from Classic Elite. Liberty Wool is a favourite of mine.
Liberty Wool is a super-soft, washable wool available in solid and printed colors. This yarn's balanced twist will make all stitch combinations pop.
With all the great qualities of wool and the ease of machine washability, Liberty Wool knits at a gauge that suits many designs and is ideal for children's pieces as well as those for adults. The Cables Top Hat is a free pattern with the purchase of Liberty. Two balls are needed.
The Cables and Lace pattern is also free with the purchase of Liberty.
This cute baby pattern is free and takes 2-3 balls of Liberty.
Yesterday afternoon Beth received these pictures from doggie day care. Lucy was having fun running through the fields. She was still a bit timid but better.
My dad dropped her off at 6:30 this morning. Lucy got out of the truck and took off for the front door. She couldn't wait for her day with the other dogs. My dad was a bit upset. Lucy didn't even say goodbye. Our little girl is growing up :)
