This is the Ivy Top from PetiteKnit. You can purchase the pattern on Ravelry.
The Ivy Top is worked from the top down. The top is constructed so the first section is worked with shoulder increases and short rows, then the front and back yoke are worked separately, back and forth on the circular needle. Front and back yoke are then joined again to form the body, which is worked in the round on the circular needle.
The top is knit with a fingering weight yarn held double strand. Rowan Summerlite 4ply is a great option. And surprise. It is on sale until the end of July.
We are expecting lots of boxes over the next few days. Malabrigo. Cascade. Allino from BC Garn. Hedghog Fibres and Biches & Buches.
All the painting is finished and we’re starting to get things hung again. This is the front hall. There are a lot of pot lights and I can’t get the colour correct in the picture. It’s a mocha colour and we’re very happy with it.
This picture popped up on my iPad this afternoon. Baby Jackson from 2021.The Price is Right is on and the Jays are about to start. I’m heading to my knitting chair. I’m working away on What the Fade?! I have 10 rows of the fifth colour to work and then I will be joining in the last colour.
