Anchor Bay

With a balanced blend of 50% Cotton and 50% Superwash Merino Wool, Anchor Bay is a supple, lightweight, and easy-care blend that delivers excellent stitch definition. This machine-washable and dryable yarn naturally wicks away moisture and retains its shape, making it a reliable choice for everyday wear. Available in a wide range of rich tones, this multi-seasonal yarn is ideal for garments for all ages, accessories, and cozy blankets.

Anchor Bay is a true DK weight yarn - the suggested tension is 22 sts = 4” on 4mm needles.

See the shades we have in stock. A few colours are out of stock and we are waiting for our supplier to receive another shipment.

Here is a link to patterns on Ravelry that use Anchor Bay.

You might have some Sirdar or Hayfield baby patterns at home that ask for DK weight yarn. Anchor Bay is a great substitute.

Are you following Andrea Mowry on Instagram? She showed a sneak peek today of her new sweater pattern that should be coming out next week. I will make up kits once we know the yarn requirements.
Fred getting comfy on dad’s bed while dad was in the shower this morning.

Alex is coming in with me tomorrow and there are boxes piling up for her to unpack. A large box from Malabrigo that is full of Rios will be her first job.

The family is leaving for the cottage in the morning. Beth wants to sneak away for a few days. They will come home on Saturday morning because it’s getting hot there over the weekend. I’ll have a few days of quiet while they’re gone.
