Finished Projects

We have a new store sample. Deidre did a great job knitting this for us.

Pattern: Plumped Up Cowl (purchased on Ravelry)

Yarn: Malabrigo Chunky. 2 skeins of Hollyhock and 2 skeins of Arco Iris

Needles: Deidre used 6mm

I put together a few combinations online. You can choose any two colours from our stock to put together your own combination.

Malabrigo Mecha is another option for the cowl.

Tanis Lavallee’s Metropolis sweater is a great pattern for Malabrigo Chunky and Mecha. The pattern is free on Ravelry.
What could possibly be cozier than a simple, chunky sweater with generous ribbing and a turtleneck that dreams are made of!? I fell in love with this colourway and knew I wanted something simple yet spectacular to let it shine in a garment. If you need me, I’ll be the one walking around on perfect fall days snug as a bug in a rug in my ultimate chunky sweater!

I tried to do some tidying in the store this morning and make new displays. Hello Blueberry!
I have another finished project. Alex dropped it off this morning.

Pattern: Traveler Cowl (pattern purchased on Ravelry)

Yarn: Dyed in the Wool

Colour: Side Quest

Needles: 3.75mm Ewenicorn
Sarah has a new finished project.

Finally done 😂 he loves it. Can’t stop wearing it 😆

I thought the stitch pattern was going to be annoying because it’s essentially a knit one purl one rib combination but there was something calming about it and once you learned the pattern, you really don’t need to look at it anymore and you can just be on your way Knitting. I really love the cable detail at the Raglan sleeve. I also really love the weight of this yarn and how it knit up. I’m really tempted to do the women’s version! Of course we would never wear them at the same time and not the same color lol

Pattern: Gib II (pattern purchased on Ravelry)

Yarn: Le Lambswool

Dad taped a bunch of boxes this morning so I’m going to go fill them. The movers are coming a week Wednesday to pack our kitchen and whatever else we want/need packed. I couldn’t face wrapping all the dishes, glasses and serving bowls. I’m a bit of a bull in the china shop and I hate to think what could/would end up broken.
