Cosmos Blossom Wrap

Ambah O’Brien has a new pattern. You can purchase the pattern for the Cosmos Blossom Wrap on Ravelry.

Knit yourself a gorgeous floral lace wrap or thinner scarf. Express yourself with a bold colourful patchwork piece, a neutral, muted wrap or try both, using a neutral and adding a bright pop of colour. The fingering weight squares are perfect for stash diving or for using up those 20-gram minis you’ve been collecting. Or treat yourself to some beautiful new yarn and knit yourself a piece to treasure. Available in three width options, Scarf, Wrap and Large Wrap.

The pattern includes both written and charted instructions for the lace. A pinhole cast on is recommended, with a video tutorial linked.

One skein of Emma’s Practically Perfect Sock Smalls will make a square or two triangles.

The pictures are of Ambah’s large wrap.

We have many colours of Practically Perfect Smalls in stock and more will be arriving at the beginning of March. The great thing about this wrap is that you don’t have to purchase all the yarn at once.

Alex finished my Traveler Shawl while I was away
Pattern: Traveler Shawl (purchased on Ravelry)
Yarn: 7 skeins of Dream State in the colour Overboard
Needles: 5mm Ewenicorn

I love the colours.

Dad is working beside me. They are bidding on a job on Tuesday and he is finishing the estimating. He has all the numbers written down and is adding them in his head. The only problem is that he talks while he is adding and I’m having a hard time concentrating on what I want to write.

I hope to open the store tomorrow morning. We’ll see if the snow starts early. If I can get there I will open but we might close early. The roads in my neighbourhood weren’t plowed until 10pm last night and they didn’t do a good job. The road was very icy when I came home tonight.
