Stromboli

This is Stromboli from Caitlin Hunter. Another short sleeved sweater.

Stromboli is the latest in my Knitaly series- tee patterns inspired and named for places in Italy. My dream is to one day visit all the places in the series! Stromboli is an island near Sicily, and the home of an active volcano (Mount Stromboli). The other patterns in the series are TegnaMarettimoNavelliMisurina and Manarola.

This pattern is knit from the bottom up in the round, then separated for front and back which are worked flat. After joining the shoulders, sleeve stitches are picked up and worked in the round, either to long or short length as preferred. Finally collar stitches are picked up and worked.

You can purchase the pattern on Ravelry.

The sweater is knit in fingering weight yarn. We have Summerlite 4ply from Rowan and Le Petit Organic Cotton from Biches & Buches.

The dogs and I had a good day. I finished my tax return and am getting a small refund. YAY!!! Then I updated the website. There was a bit of cleaning as well. I’m turning into Lynn 🥰. Lynn loves to clean. Me not so much but I’m getting better and try to clean the floors every other day. At the old house we had artificial grass in the backyard. Now we have real grass and the dogs bring in dirt.

Tonight’s movie is Suspect with Cher. Now it’s time to knit.
