Smoke

Laura Bryant of Prism Yarns has an awesome sweater in the new Vogue Knitting Holiday Edition. We don't carry the magazine in the store but you can find it at Chapters or in the grocery store.

The model is wearing the Blue Lagoon colourway.
For this boat-neck pullover, Bryant chose an asymmetrical chevron pattern stitch, with one leg longer than the other, causing the fabric to bias. It’s worked in a luscious combination of Prism’s Merino Mia and Radiant Petite Madison, a merino, cashmere and silk blend shot through with a bit of gold and silver sparkle.
The response has been so great that Laura has put together three more colourways.
Embers
A rich compilation of warm rusts accented with strong deep plum and magenta.
Smoke
Soft neutral gray and taupe is accented with rich deep plum and steel blue/gray.
Tumbleweed
Our ever-popular Tumbleweed with its sage green, khaki and soft plum is accented with more of the same tones.
Kits are available for sizes S-XL.

Laura's colour sense is amazing. Smoke is calling my name. If you don't want to make the sweater, the yarn would make an amazing shawl. The smallest size kit has 1800 yards.  Outline?

There hasn't been much knitting time this week but Building Blocks is growing. I think there is going to be another Good Wife marathon tonight and I should make it to the third clue.
