From now until 31st October Rowan will run a competition to create your own shade in its bestselling yarn Kidsilk Haze.
As Kidsilk Haze becomes a teenager (13 years old in Autumn 2014), all Rowan fans are invited to create their very own shade. Send in a picture of the colour you would like us to replicate, including the background story and suggested shade name.
It may be your favourite holiday sunset, a favourite sweater or bring back a previous shade you adored!
How to enter
Facebook – you can upload your entry, but it must be added to the competition thread and not loose on the page!
Ravelry – we will create a thread on the Rowan Yarns forum. Entries to be posted to this thread only will be considered.

How many winning shades will there be? – We will select a shortlist of 13 potential winners (as it is 13 years we’re celebrating!), and then select one winner for each category above.
The Winners will not only have the accolade that they have selected a yarn shade for Rowan, but will also receive a pack of their chosen yarn.

Beth was flipping through TV channels yesterday afternoon and saw that the new season of Homeland was starting. We almost blew that. The first two episodes were last night. I'm not sure. It was a bit slow. Hopefully they were just setting up for what is going to happen this season.
